iOS Users Download More Photos on Twitter

The company Skyline analyzed 24 million of photos uploaded into Twitter by its users last week. The result was is that 39% of all photos were sent from iOS devices.

The official client of Twitter for iPhone is the most popular photo-sending tool. Its share is 21%. The second place is held by the official site of Twitter with the percentage of 17%. And the application Instagram keeps 13%.

Also iOS users upload photos into the official hosting of service more often than others. There is the percentage of 42% for photos sent from iDevices. Blackberry users like posting their photos on yfrog (47%). And Android users prefer sharing their photos through Twicpic service (39%).

The graph shows how mentioned 39% are formed. 21% are posted through the official client for iOS, 13% - through Instagram for iPhone and 5% - using a new opportunity in iOS 5.0.
