Nikon iP-PJ: iPhone with Integral Projector
This September the Japanese company Nikon started sales of its new multifunctional photo camera Coolpix S1200pj with a special feature, what is integral projector. It can be also used for watching almost all content from your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch on all upsides. There is an app for that!
For using photo camera as a projector you will need a special cable and a free app Nikon iP-PJ from AppStore. It will be possible to watch not only photos and videos made by integral camera, but also Youtube content, office documents (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint), PDF-files and even web-sites (the program has integral browser). Picture definition is 1024x768 pixels. It will also be possible to carry a necessary information from a PC to a mobile phone or a tablet using a standart Wi-Fi connection through browser of by standart tools of iTunes.
Nikon iP-PJ is not a universal program, but in accordance to a description it will work on any portative Apple device with iOS 4 or higher. That’s a welcome projector in the form of a photo camera for iPhone priced at $340. Now it is the cheapest good compared to competitive devices Microvision SHOWWX+ priced at $450 and Epson MegaPlex HD priced at $800.
