New educational resources “Heroes of Russia”, cultural interactive educational modules (IEM) of a new generation, were created. They were developed on the basis of the following approaches: modeling, game and simulation.

• A.V. Suvorov’s Swiss campaign to the places of his glory
• The Swiss campaign. The event reconstruction.
• The Great Russian commander A.V. Suvorov.
• A.V. Suvorov. His supporters and opponents.
• The epoch of Peter the Great.
• K.S. Stanislavsky’s activity in the theatre.
• Yuri Gagarin. The map of his relationships.

The content of the module is developed to meet psychological and pedagogical features of the target audience (the young mostly). That is why the modules have a lot of interactive elements such as texts, photos, audio, video, spherical photo panoramas.

The following technological options were used to develop these modules:

• Fill in a word
• Map of personal relationships
• Composition

The modules with a Composition option have the following possibilities:

• To save the results of the creative tasks – the Composition done by a user;
• To download a Composition to demonstrate.

These interactive modules can be used also in computer networks with a low capacity. It allows providing all Russian users (including people with disabilities) with a high quality interactive content.

These interactive educational modules can be used for distant education.

The content of the modules operates on the following systems: MS Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Apple MacOS, Ubuntu, AltLinux.
