What Makes History

The human history is clearly dated from ancient times to nowadays. It’s easy to find answers almost to all questions in numerous historical and archeological guidebooks. There are a lot of unique exhibits in different world museums, which were witnesses of previous ages. It will be probably no one with the table «origin is unknown» or «age is unknown».

These things are pedantically grouped and placed in a strict chronological order. But why did scientists think that, for example, one jar was made in the V century b.c., but the other one in the VIII century?

They say methods of ancient objects’ age determination are well checked and, what’s even more important, very reliable. But is it so in fact? Is the world history based on strict scientific arguments?
