Tests with iPhone
Myshkin Ingawale, living and working in India, claims that he designs iPhone App which is able to indicate the presence of 25 different conditions based on the analysis of urine. Inquiring citizen does not have to ruin his iPhone, as for test uses only phone camera.
First you collect a urine sample in a cup and dip the paper test strip in the sample for two seconds. And then take a picture using your iPhone camera. That’s so simple. Taking a photo of the urine strip with the uChek smartphone app allows the iPhone to analyze the image quickly and accurately to give a concise reading of your urine sample.
The new App can be used as an iPhone urine test indicator of 25 different medical conditions like diabetes, urinary tract infections, preeclampsia, kidney and liver problems, and cancers, as well as to assess general health.
The uChek smartphone app will cost only 99 cents for the iPhone, and another $20 will supply the urine kit which includes a color-coded test map and a pack of urine dipsticks. The developer site doesn’t say where to buy proper kit. But they promise to create Android and Windows 8/RT versions. Source: uChek
