Mobile ‘cashless’ taxi

Yandex.Taxi users now have the option to pay their rides by banking card using special iPhone application. According to company information, the service earns approx. 70% daily orders from iPhone owners.

And now you shouldn’t carry your card with you to pay for your trip. It’s enough to share with App the total sum and CVV2/CVC2 code signed underside.

To have cashless taxi rides the passenger has to attach his banking card to Yandex.Money service because it provides money transferring to taxi stations. There are gossips the payment will be free of charge.

Actually for now you may pay your ride using card in most of city taxies which provides Yandex.Taxi service. To be sure that you would have proper cashless taxi it is necessary  - when you leave your order - to specify the cashless settlement as a method of payment. The service is also comfortable for drivers – they shouldn’t use typical POS-terminal. And in future you might be able to order a taxi for your friends and family.

Initially the service is available for Moscow Yandex.Money users, but in the future it is allowed to use in other Russian towns where Yandex.Taxi is available and also on other popular platforms and through web sites.

Yandex.Taxi service was activated in October of 2011. It lets finding and ordering the closest taxi to customer, using service interface and iOs/Android.
