Kulikovo Battlefield: Battle for Moscow

The Kulikovo Battle is one of the greatest events of Russian history. It goes without saying that the battle on the Kulikovo Field in 1380 was the first step for liberating Russian territory from Mongol-Tatar Yoke. But was it so in real?
The results of long-term researches of Russian scientists show there were no conquerors that time in Rus. Also there was no 300-year Golden Horde Yoke. And Dmitry Donskoy’s forces were fighting  not with steppe nomads. They had a completely different enemy. And the name of place, which is supposed to be The Kulikovo Field, doesn’t really deserve its name. Archeological findings and Old Russian chronicles tell us about it clear enough.
So where did the famous historical events take place in fact? Where is The Kulikovo Field?
